In Laravel 9, you'll be able to use the cool new "checked" Blade directive.
This is going to be a nice addition that we can use to clean up our Blade views a little bit
1// Before Laravel 9:2<input type="radio" name="active" value="1" {{ old('active', $user->active) ? 'checked' : '' }}/>3<input type="radio" name="active" value="0" {{ old('active', $user->active) ? '' : 'checked' }}/>4 5// Laravel 96<input type="radio" name="active" value="1" @checked(old('active', $user->active))/>7<input type="radio" name="active" value="0" @checked(!old('active', $user->active))/>
